Finished reading: The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen ๐Ugh. Sort of a romance novel with a bit of Alice Hoffman-esque magic, but overall pretty silly.

Finished reading: Clarissa by Samuel Richardson ๐Took me more than a year but I finished this million-word novel. It’s interesting for its 275-year-old perspective on virtue, gender roles, rape, class, colonialism, privilege, etc. Worth reading especially when you’re stuck in bed with a broken leg.
