Finished reading: Escape From Kathmandu by Kim Stanley Robinson ๐A very silly book but I’m a completionist for KSR. If you have visited Kathmandu, then the descriptions of the city feel very true. Brought back good memories of a 1981 trip for me.

Finished reading: Anita de Monte Laughs Last by Xochitl Gonzalez ๐A very fun summer read. A bit indulgent but in a direction that I have to appreciate. Also about artists, art history, and coming of age in the 2000s.
Currently reading: Sweet Taste of Liberty: A True Story of Slavery and Restitution in America by W. Caleb McDaniel ๐
Finished reading: This Other Eden by Paul Harding ๐An excellent novel. There is child abuse, which normally means I stop reading a novel, but I can see that it was integral to the story and the overall message of the book is both beautiful and sad. A beautiful island Maine setting in early 1900s.

Finished reading: Last Lecture by Perfection Learning Corporation ๐Ugh. I mean, I’m sorry for the guy and his family that he died so young. But so much inflated self-importance.
