Finished reading: The Magic Kingdom by Russell Banks πLoved it though I canβt say exactly why. Mainly the voice of the main character, full of a regret that somehow felt relatable and useful.

Finished reading: The Balliols by Alec Waugh πSo unexpectedly good! Written in 1934, looking back at 1900-1925. Lots about the role of women changing, lots about the disappointments post-WW1. Highly recommended.
Finished reading: The Women Could Fly by Megan Giddings πI didn’t love it. Parts of it were great, a lot of it was preachy.
