Anybody know if these mushrooms are edible? We seeded these logs with store-bought spores a couple years ago. Maybe shiitake? But we’re not brave enough to eat them.

Yes, my darling kitty has early stage kidney disease. We’re entering a new world of delivering sub-cutaneous fluids and providing a special diet. Overall, we’re trying to help her have an excellent quality of life through this next phase. And I’m very sad.
